The Account Executive is responsible for all assigned sales activities. Assignments may be account-based, geography-based, or a combination of the two. Account Executive will focus on selling our DPX+ product and the Account Executive will handle total sales functions from prospecting and follow-up to completed sale. Also responsible for establishing sales forecasts and maintaining budgets and expenses related to sales activity. The Account Executive is responsible for net new business and assigned existing business through primarily a virtual environment.

  • Manages the activity and health of their territory’s sales funnel to ensure the successful attainment of their annual Sales Objective.

  • Proficiently presents DPX+, is able to successfully ask questions to discover unstated needs and can also demo the solution to prospects.

  • Contacts marketing driven leads in an appropriate amount of time as is able to capture product feedback in Salesforce.

  • Generates self-sourced leads and follows-up on all leads generated by various sources and submitted to Deluxe TM&P analyzing and qualifying potential prospects.

  • Participates, leads, and coordinates contract processes and negotiations between clients and internal Deluxe TM&P departments to include component contract input and T&C’s contributions for applicable opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Business or Marketing or HS/GED and 4 years experience in sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 Years within the Payments Industry or selling complex Outsourcing and Software solutions to senior-level executives.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

  • Strong analytical/mathematical skills.

  • Knowledge of industry trends.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft CRM, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Builds rapport with clients, team members and leadership

  • Understands the client’s needs and offers a solution by matching product features and benefits to their pain points.

  • Takes a consultative approach and puts customer’s needs first

  • Is able to find leads and build a strong pipeline

  • Records sales activities in Salesforce

  • Takes accountability for their actions, progress and results

  • Can utilize tools in our tech stack: Salesforce, Sales Engagement, Zoom Info and LinkedIn Navigator
